Today we spent the day at the Great stirrup Cay Island, If you are looking for a good day of any type of Beach sitting, walking, Hammock laying, beach volley ball or even some last minute t-shirt purchases, this is the place.

We were on the 3rd shuttle to the Island I think, when we got there, there was hardly anyone yet, I quickly found a hammock and took a nice nap, I opened my eye every so often to see loaded shuttles bringing passengers ...

This morning we woke up at the Island of Nassau, docked next to many other cruise line ships at a huge dock, its kewl to see them all, next to us in the dock is the Royal Caribbean Ship The Monarch of the Sea, pretty sure that is the same ship were were on the last cruise we took 5 or 6 years ago. Today is the big day that we all came for Amanda and Loren will be getting married on the Island about noon.

Last night was fun, One of the people in our group, Fred Dodd, won the belly flop contest. The rest of the guy's who attempted to do a belly flop were not very brave and did not even try to hit the water flat.

I slept pretty good and woke up ready for day 2, Kathy, Rachael and I went to the shops to buy some things to take home. I sat on the benches outside the shops while Kathy and Rachael went in and out of each one. When they were done shopping and headed back to the ship with the first load, I hailed a taxi to take me golfing.

When we first boarded the ship around noon, there was lunch to eat at the buffet, and you could browse around the ship somewhat, but most of the ship was still closed down.

The rooms were not to be ready until 2:00 pm so you you basically had to find something to do, either eat, or sit and wait. The time passed quickly and before you knew it (I think I took a short nap in the sun) was time to go to the room. The room was real nice, larger ...
